During open climb only the Auto Belay System is used. Anyone wishing to use the ropes must pass a Belay Skills Test.

Anyone wishing to use the Kenosha YMCA rockwall (Climbing Gym) must first sign a Waiver of Liability and a Rules & Etiquette Agreement. Minors under the age of 18 must have these forms signed by a parent or guardian. These forms are kept on file at the Kenosha YMCA for one-year.

Rock Climbing Competition
Open to all ages and skill levels, the competiton will be held Saturday, September 15, 2012. Cost is $20 for Members and $30 for General Public. More Information.

Boy & Girl Scout Climbing Badges
Did you know the Kenosha YMCA offers a five hour class covering all the requirements of the Climbing Merit Badge? Requirements include: belaying, rappelling, knot tying, rope management and other safety requirements.
