COVID-19 Updates

Dear Kenosha Y Members,

As a nonprofit dedicated to keeping our community healthy, safe and thriving for all, Y members make our impact possible. Thank you to all those that stayed with us during these incredibly challenging times. Thanks to your support, the Y was able to provide emergency child care and remain here for you.

A few SUMMER I changes to note:

  • Facility, Classes & Programs open to Kenosha Y Members only
  • Showers: Now Open
  • Whirlpool: Now Open, max 2 people
    • 10-minute limit, beginning June 29th
  • Bottle Fillers available
  • Basketball: Online Hoop Reservations, beginning June 29th
  • Reserve Lap Pool for 30 or 60-minutes
  • Pool Equipment available, disinfected after each use
  • Private Lessons resuming by appointment
  • Kids’ Club: Now Open with Reservations
  • Massage: Now Taking Appointments
  • My Fitness Studio: Now Open
  • Swim Team: Resuming, see program guide

We are thrilled to announce that we are re-opening our facility to Kenosha Y members on May 26, 2020. We will be reopening in phases to keep our members and staff safe as we adhere to guidelines from the CDC and our local health department. You will notice some changes and increased signage throughout our facility. You can see some of these changes in the video below, and a complete list by clicking the link below.

A few Phase I changes to note:

  • We are currently open to Kenosha Y members only
    • Guest/Day passes and Nationwide membership are temporarily suspended
  • Members are asked to social distance and whenever possible stay at minimum 6 feet from others
  • Entry & Exit: Members will enter through the main doors and exit through the Kueny Aquatic doors in the pool lobby
  • Members are encouraged to wear masks when moving throughout the building
  • Additional hand sanitizing stations have been added throughout the building. Members are asked to sanitize their hands upon entering.
  • Additional cleaner and towels are also available throughout the building. Members are asked to wipe down equipment Before & After each use.
  • Additional cleaning staff will be on duty circulating throughout the facility, focusing on frequently touched objects
  • Group Exercise (registration required)
  • POOLS are open, but a reservation must be made 24-hours in advance. Click here for further details
  • Staff will wear masks as well as be temperature checked when entering the building
  • Locker Rooms and Showers are open
    • Family locker room is reserved for Warm Water Pool users
    • Sauna, Steam Room and Whirlpool are temporarily closed
  • Kids Club is not available in Phase I

We will continue to monitor guidelines from the CDC and our local health department, and review/update these guidelines and communicate changes through email, this website and social media.
