The Kenosha YMCA, Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department, and the Frank Elementary School have partnered to strengthen these families through programs and activities that are designed to address their physical, emotional, academic, and spiritual needs.
To provide help and hope to Kenosha’s inner-city families who are exceptionally challenged by a lack of economic opportunities and fatherless homes.
The Frank Neighborhood Project will be an essential resource in the Frank neighborhood that empowers families to reach their full potential by providing experiences, activities, and programs that changes lives.
About the Director
Pastor William Harris has been a leading advocate for inner-city families for the past 20 years. He has held the positions of Frank School Youth Activities Director, Asst. Chaplain KCDC, and Founder of Root of Jesus Christian Ministries, Focus Inn, and has been an ordained minister for over 15 years. He was recently recognized with the Friend of Education Award from the Kenosha Unified School District, the NAACP’s Positive Impact Freedom Fighter award as well as the prestigious Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Humanitarian Award for the advancement of human rights and social justice in Kenosha.
