Contest Entry Guidelines

  1. Eligibility:
    • Entrants under 18 years of age require the permission of a parent or guardian. By entering the contest, entrants under 18 years of age indicate that they have obtained the permission of a parent or guardian.
    • This contest is not open to Kenosha YMCA employees.
  2. Entries are only accepted through the online contest submission form.
  3. Entering the contest constitutes agreement to the terms of conditions stated in these Entry Guidelines.
  4. Entries must be received no later than May 31, 2024.
  5. Entry Requirements:
    • Submit a photo of yourself wearing a life jacket at your current place of employment.
    • Participants may submit a maximum of 1 photo per place of employment.
    • Photos containing multiple people may only be submitted once. Only the person who submits the photo will be entered into the contest.
  6. Participants retain ownership of their photos but grant The Kenosha YMCA/Kenosha Safety Around Water Coalition permission to use their submissions for promotional purposes.
  7. All submitted photos must be original works created by the participants and not violate any copyright or intellectual property rights.
  8. Entrants are responsible for the resolution of any legal issues arising from their submitted works and agree to pay any costs thereby incurred.
  9. Submission of photos that contain offensive, inappropriate, or unlawful content are prohibited.
  10. Voting will be conducted via Facebook June 5th 2024 through June 12th 2024.
  11. The photo with the most likes/reactions at the end of the voting period will be the winner.
  12. Winner will be announced Thursday, June 13, 2024.
  13. The winner will receive a 3-month family membership to the Kenosha YMCA. Membership is good for a new membership only – it cannot be applied to a current membership. The prize can be transferred/gifted to another individual.
  14. Winner will be contacted via email. Prize must be claimed by July 15th, 2024, or will be forfeited.
  15. The Kenosha YMCA reserves the right to modify or cancel the contest, at any time for any reason.
